But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:10) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
