Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. (2 Thessalonians 3:2) Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. (James 2:24) |
