Does Your Church Have a Piano?
The Old Testament had musical instruments (Ps 150:1-6). It also had blood sacrifices. But Jesus said God wanted new worship in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24).

Piano

The New Testament requires singing with understanding - not making noise on instruments (I Cor 14:15; Eph 5:19; Col 3:16). So why do churches have instruments? When did they bring them in? What did past church leaders say about this invention?

If you think playing a piano is close to singing, will cookies and milk work for the Lord's Supper? If you think God does not care, ask Moses (Num 20:7-12), Nadab and Abihu (Lev 10:1-2), or David (II Sam 6:1-10). Have noisy instruments brought spiritual revival and holiness or worldly compromise?

Closed Communion
Scriptural reasons why a New Testament church should commune only with its own members at the Lord's table.

Will Grape Juice and Crackers Do?
How do you observe the Lord's Supper? Since Jesus Christ chose this Supper for His churches to remember His death, it should be very important to observe it in a way that pleases Him. Since the only source of information about the Lord's Supper is the Bible, we should choose its two elements based on Scripture alone. Where did grape juice and manufactured wafers or crackers come from? Could we use cookies and milk, if we were sincere?

Drink Ye All of It
While instituting the Lord’s Supper and serving the wine, the Lord Jesus Christ said, "Drink ye all of it." Was Jesus worried about leftover wine, or was He wisely condemning a future heresy?
